   When to fertilize

   Feed during active spring and summer growth, from twice a year up to once or twice a month with a dilute solution.

   Keep feeding tied to spring and summer growth, and do not continue the active-growth schedule automatically through fall and winter. Stop routine feeding through fall and winter.

   Fertilizer type and dose

   Use a dilute or low-dose liquid fertilizer, such as a balanced one. No brand or special succulent formula is needed.

   Use only the low-dose or dilute strength given on the product label. Follow the manufacturer instructions. No single dilution fits every ZZ pot and product.
