Start with a photo

Point the camera. Botanicaly shows a likely match with high, medium, or low confidence. You can reject the result. Three identifications are free each day.

Your plant’s history can change the advice

That includes the setup you saved and the care you record. Tap Why? to see which factors Botanicaly used.

Check a visible problem with Plant Doctor

Pro

With Pro, add photos and context. Plant Doctor suggests possible causes from visible signs. You get one practical next step and something to watch for.

Adaptive care

The timing changes with the season and your answers.

Botanicaly asks, you feel the soil. Not dry means it waits and asks again in a few days. If that keeps happening, it offers a calmer pace.

Can I use Botanicaly for free?

Yes. You can identify up to three plants a day free, keep every plant with its care history, use watering reminders and Still Wet tuning, and browse the JungleBook. Pro adds deeper AI and environmental tools. See the App Store or Google Play for current pricing and trial availability.

How accurate is plant identification?

Botanicaly shows a likely identification with high, medium, or low confidence. Photo quality and visible traits affect the result. You can retake the photo or reject it.

What can a photo not tell me?

A photo cannot confirm moisture deeper in the pot or hidden root health. It does not prove drainage or measure the light around your plant. It cannot give a definitive disease diagnosis. Check the soil before following a watering reminder.

Does weather tell Botanicaly what is happening indoors?

No. With Pro, local outdoor weather can be one input to care guidance. It is not a measurement of the conditions around your plant.

How does Botanicaly use my plant data?

Plant data and saved photos are stored with your account. Botanicaly does not sell personal data or run ads, and you can export or delete your account data.
