   Best position and light

   Spathiphyllum wallisii tolerates partial or deeper shade, but bright indirect light is the more useful indoor target for growth and flowering. Hot direct sun can scorch leaves.

   Place the plant near a bright window with filtered light or behind a sheer curtain. Keep it away from a hot, unfiltered pane and from a position so dark that flowering and growth weaken.

   Seasonal light changes

   Keep the same filtered light year-round. Watch for lower winter light and stronger summer sun through glass, and adjust the position if the leaves react.

   Signs the light may be wrong

   Fewer flowers or weak, stretched growth can point to too little light. Bleached or scorched patches can follow harsh direct sun, while brown tips can also come from watering, dry air or salt buildup.
