How to propagate by stem cuttings

Wear gloves before cutting. The sap can irritate sensitive skin. Keep cuttings out of reach of children and pets because eating the leaves can cause illness.

Cut a healthy stem tip 7.5–10 cm (3–4 in) long and remove the lowest three or four leaves.

Place the bare lower section in the mix, or lay it on the surface so the nodes touch the mix. Cover the lowest nodes lightly.

Mist the surface lightly so it does not dry out while the cutting establishes. Never saturate the mix.
