   Give Pachira aquatica bright, indirect or filtered light rather than unfiltered hot sun. A shaded position may work, but the room still needs enough light for steady indoor growth.

   Place the money tree near a bright window with light softened by distance or a sheer barrier. Keep the plant stable after moving it, because a sudden relocation can be followed by leaf drop.

   Seasonal light changes

   Indoor light can fall in winter, when Pachira growth and water use also change. Reassess the position rather than carrying a summer exposure into a dimmer season. No fixed winter light number is set.
