   Begonia semperflorens hort. is a synonym of Begonia x semperflorens-cultorum, a horticultural group. Tuberous, rhizomatous and other Begonia groups are separate and not covered here.

   This tender, fibrous-rooted group has rounded green or bronze foliage and single or double red, pink or white flowers. It is grown as summer bedding and in patio containers.
